Roman Rudnytsky kicked off the first of two concerts on Saipan at the Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret last Saturday, March 18.
The award-winning Marianas High School Glee Club’s Rhythm ‘N Harmony started Rudnytsky’s concert.
Rudnytsky is no stranger to Saipan. His current visit is now his eighth since 1990, when he was first invited to perform.
“I enjoy the ambiance… I always have a very nice time. I enjoy the views, the weather, the people, and especially the food,” Rudnytsky told Saipan Ttribune.
Rudnytsky also goes to many CNMI schools to play and discuss music. So far this time, he has visited Agape Christian School, Marianas High School, Oleai Elementary School, Tanapag Middle School, Cha Cha High School, Saipan Southern High School, and Whispering Palms.
Rudnytsky travels at his own expense and donates his time to the community.
He will have his second concert on Friday, March 24, at the American Memorial Park theater. It is free of charge.
