PARKING 101
A van overshoots after the driver misjudged the island while trying to park the vehicle inside the parking lot of Gold Beach Hotel in Beach Road. Only the driver’s pride was hurt in the incident. (Jon Perez)
WSR GEOGRAPHIC BEE WINNER
Eric Mahinay, a fifth grade student at William S. Reyes Elementary School, won the school competition of the National Geographic Bee. The school Bee is a competition where students answered questions on geography. Thousands of schools around the United States and in the five territories are participating in the 2016 Bee.
