Another Guam Guard Airman departs for deployment

One Airman, from the Guam Air National Guard’s 254th Force Support Squadron departed Saturday, Jan. 19, en route to a deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in Southwest Asia.

Capt. Francine Cruz will be tasked to provide protocol services at her assigned location.

The Guard asks the public for their continued support of our Airmen and their families,” said Maj. Gen. Leon Guerrero. “We still have other Airmen from the 254th Security Forces Squadron who are currently deployed or supporting missions around the world. Please keep them and these Airmen in your thoughts and prayers now as they prepare to deploy and for the duration of their deployment”.

The remaining Airmen are scheduled to leave in the next few weeks and are scheduled to be deployed for approximately six months. (PR)
