On Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at about 1:12pm, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting a theft incident at the Mangoresort Apartment complex in Koblerville.

Police dispatched to the scene met with the caller who led police to their apartment unit. The caller stated that their digital camera may have been possibly taken from the apartment while they were downstairs by the pool. The individual wanted to take a few pictures of the scenery but could not find their camera anywhere in their apartment or vehicle. After retracing their steps and looking everywhere they called for police assistance to report the camera missing. The camera is described as a black Canon camera with a beige colored Canon lens.

If you or someone you know has been approached recently by any individual offering to sell you camera or photography equipment matching the description, call 911, or if you wish to remain anonymous you may call the CNMI Crime Stoppers hotline at 234-7272. Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for any information leading to an arrest. (PR)
