A man who was golfing at the Kingfisher Golf Links back in March 2022 is suing the golfing range for negligence in the amount of $300,000 after he slipped and fell into a dry pond.

Chae Hwang Park, through Matthew Holley, has filed a civil lawsuit against Kingfisher Golf Links in the Superior Court, alleging negligence.

As relief, Park is asking the Superior Court to award him $300,000 for non-economic damages such as pain and suffering, emotional distress, and diminished quality of life.

As an alternative, Park is asking the court to order mandatory mediation between Kingfisher and the plaintiff.

In addition, Park is seeking present and future economic and non-economic damages in an amount to be proven at trial.

According court documents, the alleged incident happened on or about March 3, 2022.

Holley said defendant knew or should have known that the pond should have been filled with water and that having the pond, while empty, created an invitation for the customers to retrieve their golf balls.
