DPS seeks public’s help to alleviate traffic coongestion
In an effort to ease the strain of heavy traffic, the Department of Public Safety released a public safety advisory yesterday, asking motorists traversing Beach Road Chalan Kanoa northbound to Beach Road Garapan, to assist in mitigating traffic congestion by exploring alternative routes, thereby enhancing the efficiency of their daily commute.
Recognizing the significance of student and community pick-up activities in the area, DPS is actively collaborating with the Public School System and the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority to provide temporary transportation solutions. These measures aim to ensure a more seamless and less stressful journey for residents and commuters alike.
DPS spokesperson Sgt. Fred Sato expressed his gratitude for the public’s cooperation in enhancing traffic flow and reiterated the importance of collective efforts in addressing congestion challenges.
