109 runners join SDA 5K Hope Run

A total of 109 participants registered for the 12th Annual Saipan Seventh Day Adventist School 5K Hope Run held last Sunday morning.

Runners made their way from the Garapan Fishing Base to the Trankun Da’uk pavilion in Susupe, with the proceeds of the race going toward the SDA Hope Run Scholarship which aids several students attending SDA School.

The Top 10 runners overall are James Abuy (23:59), Pony Tang (24:02), Taiga Namai-Scoggins (25:00), Simon Necesito (25:24), Vhoie Francia (25:40), Eric Mahinay (27:02), Frank Diesta (29:28), Nelson Alliovida (30:46), Long Jiang Su (32:09), and Thai Ngyuen (32:21).

The Top 6 U14 runners are Taiga Namai-Scoggins (25:00), Jason Christopher Sablan (33:35), Enoch Song (33:34), Hao Yang Song (33:57), Orica George (34:29), and Sonjihoo Hwang (35:12).

The top runner per category from U6 male is Rufin Joaquin Inos and female is Janiah Reine Sanchez; 7 to 10 years old male is Shane Mabutas and female is Melisa Namai-Scoggins; 11 to 14 age group male is Taiga Namai-Scoggins and female is Orica George; 15 to 19 age group male  is Pony Tang and female is Kyle Diesta; 20 to 29 male is Simon Necesito and female is Sheila Awitan; 30 to 39 age group male is Long Jiang Su and female is Kris Romero; 40 to 49 age group male is Vhoei Francia and female is Sheila Mabutas; 50 to 59 male is James Abuy and female is Eva Awitan; 60-and-up male is Frank Diesta and female is Arpa Anugera.
