2024 Marianas Classic on May 25
Get your golf clubs and tees ready for the 2024 Visa Marianas Classic Golf Tournament set for Saturday, May 25, at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
The golf tournament is in its 4th year and is jointly hosted by Bank of Guam, IP&E, IT&E, and Citadel Pacific Ltd.
Show time is at 12pm and tee time is at 1pm. Registration is ongoing for $140 which includes a ditty bag and banquet dinner immediately following, with players limited to the first 100. The game format is double peoria.
Winners will receive cash prizes, while a United Airlines round trip ticket and other great prizes will be raffled off at the banquet.
Bank of Guam senior vice president Lesley Leon Guerrero said in an email to Saipan Tribune, “Our companies are excited to once again join forces for the 4th Annual Visa Marianas Classic. This purpose-driven event allows us the opportunity to show our support for Make-a-Wish (Guam and CNMI) and also have a really fun time out on the course. We invite everyone to join us so we can continue to help more wishes come true for our local wish kids.”

In the 2022 tournament, Zhi Yun Li won the low gross score category with a 4-under 68. Flor Jones topped the women’s low gross with her 86 score.
In the men’s double peoria, Joseph Muña won the category with a net score of 69.4. Shirley Sablan took the top prize in the women’s double peoria with her net score of 80.
Charles Peters had the lowest gross among employees of Bank of Guam, IT&E, and IP&E. Both he and Ricky Delgado Jr. carded gross scores of 78, but Peters won the corporate challenge on the third playoff hole.
