4th Annual Women’s 5K/10K run this Saturday
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, the Northern Marianas Athletics 4th Annual Women’s 10K Run 2024 is set for this Saturday, March 24.
The race is at 6am and the course is the Saipan Marathon 10K course that starts at Hyatt Regency Saipan, then heads north to Puerto Rico and back.
Along with the 10K race is a women’s only 5K, and a mixed female/male 5K Fun Run/Walk with pram/stroller.
Finisher medals will be given to participants of the 10K run and the age divisions are U18 to 65 and older.
“Thank you Run Saipan board members for agreeing to yield your regular scheduled events to support our NMI Women’s Run,” said Northern Marianas Athletics general secretary Robin Sapong.
In last year’s run, Dr. Lily Muldoon was first with a time of 43:34. A close second was Akiko Miller at 43:42, and third place was Andrei Kaithlyn Chavez at 45:53.
