Starting next month, United Airlines will have five flights to Guam per week, and will transition into daily flights in August.
United Airlines’ Saipan general manager Dave Baker, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Saipan, shared the news with fellow Rotarians toward the end of the club’s meeting at the Hyatt Regency Saipan Ballroom yesterday.
In July, United Airlines will have flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing at 6:30am.
United’s flight schedule for August is as follows: on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, flights on these days will depart at 6:30am. On Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, flights will depart at 9:15am.
In an email to Saipan Tribune, Baker urged travelers with 6:30am flights to be aware that the United ticket counter will be open from 3:30am to 5:30am. For those with 9:15am flights, Baker said the counter will be open from 6:15am to 8:15am.
“We are grateful to our community and their support,” said Baker.
