Community encouraged to register for health forum
A forum on health will be held on Nov. 3, 1999 at the Seaside Hall of the Saipan Grand Hotel beginning at 8:00 a.m. sponsored by the CNMI Governor’s Developmental Disabilities Council (GDDC). The forum will bring together health care providers and persons with disabilities and their families.
The GDDC needs the support and cooperation of the community to make this forum a success.
Registration is still ongoing. Special accommodation can be arranged with GDDC. Please call 664-7000.
The GDDC would like to emphasize that this forum will provide a great opportunity for persons with disabilities and their families to acquire pertinent information regarding various health care services available in the community. More importantly, persons with disabilities and their families will have the opportunity to air their concerns regarding health care services in the CNMI.
According to Tony Cabrera, planner and one of the coordinators of this forum, “We have invited several health care providers and other related service providers to be a part of the panel. For those who have yet to reply to our invitation, we highly encourage you to call…our office to confirm your attendance as soon as possible.”
The forum is free of charge and open to the public.
