Where's the report?
Will someone kindly explain to me the result of the oversight hearing on Mrs. Agnes M. McPhetres that was conducted by Rep. Heinz Hofschneider? I am so confused. The thing is, I had been following this case and was looking forward for her prosecution only to know that she has been receiving all sorts of award.
Is there a cover-up because of her affiliation or relations with the authorities and members of the Senate? If that is the case, then it’s sad to know that people like myself are the only ones that are vulnerable to the eyes of the justice. Otherwise, Agnes is entitled to an apology from Rep. Hofschneider and the public deserved a report on the matter. After all, public funds have been spent and wasted.
On another matter, is it not true that CIP projects are matched through local revenue? If this is the case, are Rota and Tinian generating enough funds to match all those projects that they want to place in their respective island, or are we subsidizing them? If so, don’t you think the lawmakers are breaking the law?
