NMC student blues

Perhaps students who have failed repaying tuition may be caught in the economic squeeze so forced upon these isles by the decline in revenue generation.

The Issue: NMC’s business office is preparing to collect about $3 million in unpaid tuition.

Our View: It is most appropriate that schedule of payments are made to enable others the same opportunity.

Perhaps students who have failed repaying tuition may be caught in the economic squeeze so forced upon these isles by the decline in revenue generation.

But then it remains and obligation, an obligation that teaches young adults some sense of responsibility in dealing with real life situations in and out of campus.

The sum of $3 million in unpaid tuition fees is a huge figure, its non-payment essentially denying other students the opportunity to borrow and pay for their tuition.

As difficult as it may be delinquent students to repay their tuition loans, each must deal with it in a responsible manner through stringent budgeting in order to meet this payment. We are known as hardworking people, meaning, if we can’t meet our obligations through regular jobs, we extend into parttime jobs to make ends meet.

Perhaps the one most prominent setback that such non-payment has posed to prospective students is the shut down for your peers to secure loans for their classes. It is somewhat very irresponsible to get them to suffer the consequence of other students’ neglect on this obligation.

Funds for tuition loans is a revolving concept that only work if these loans totaling about $3 million is paid back. Give others a chance to matriculate at NMC by your paying your obligation forthwith or through some amenable arrangement. Give others a chance! Si Yuus Maase`!
