Mobil Oil Marianas Islands, Inc. officially launched its new uniform shirt, which captures all of the islands in the region in one cultural design.

The shirt features familiar icons reflecting the region such as the betel nut, better known as pugua, coconut trees, an Abai, outrigger canoe and the famous latte stones.

“Mobil continues to have the local and friendly atmosphere. Our new look depicts that we are more than just the premier petroleum company but a business with a commitment to the local community” said Bernadette Valencia, Retail Manager.

Oleai Elementary School

The Oleai Elementary School administration yesterday announced that the PTSA meeting will be held at 6pm on May 8, 2001 at the school cafeteria.

Open Registration

The Hopwood Junior High School will have its annual open registration for incoming 7th graders who failed to register at their respective public elementary schools. Required documents such as birth certificate and updated health certificate are needed for students to be enrolled.

The registration dates are from May 7 to May 11, 2001 from 8am to 3:30pm at the counselor’s office. For more information, call Mrs. Nariany Sikyang at 664-5089.
