Become a delegate at the 2024 Democratic National Convention

The Democratic Party of the Northern Mariana Islands will host its Presidential Primary from March 5-12.

Though the focus of the primary is to elect local Democrats’ preferred presidential candidate, of equal importance is the election of delegates who will represent the Northern Marianas at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The national convention will be held in Chicago on Aug. 19-22.

Individuals interested in becoming delegates pledged to one of the presidential candidates at the 2024 Democratic National Convention are encouraged to download the Delegate Candidacy Form at www.nmidems.org, complete the form, and email it to NMI Democratic Party chair Jonathan P. Cabrera at cabrerajjp@gmail.com.

The four presidential candidates on the ballot for the NMI Primary are President Joseph R. Biden Jr., Jason M. Palmer, Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minnesota), and Marianne Williamson.
