Bill seeks to appropriate $51K for TCGCC’s personnel, operations
Rep. Patrick H. San Nicolas (R-Tinian) has filed a local bill that will appropriate $51,017 generated from the local revenue for the personnel and operations of the Tinian Casino Gaming Control Commission.
San Nicolas stated in House Local Bill 23-48 that pursuant to funds allocated to the Second Senatorial District from local revenue, the Tinian and Aguiguan Legislative Delegation appropriates $51,017 of the local revenues to the TCGCC’s personnel and operations.
He said the expenditure authority for funds shall be the chairman of the TCGCC.
San Nicolas said the certification of funds was prepared on April 16, 2024, and was reviewed and confirmed by the Tinian Municipal treasurer.
He said funds appropriated under this bill “shall not be reprogrammed for any other purpose and notwithstanding any provision of law, all funds appropriated under this Act shall be without fiscal year limitation(s).”
