CCC board members set to discuss IPI’s bankruptcy petition
Members of the Commonwealth Casino Commission are set to discuss Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC’s filing of Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition in federal court during their regular monthly meeting tomorrow, Thursday.
According to the meeting’s agenda, CCC commissioners are also going to discuss an update on the commissioners’ schedule for deliberation whether or not to revoke IP’s exclusive gaming license.
The commissioners will consult with their legal counsel during an executive session about IPI’s bankruptcy filing and their schedule for revocation deliberation.
CCC board chair Edward C. DeLeon Guerrero set yesterday the monthly meeting for tomorrow at 10:30am at the Springs Plaza in Gualo Rai.
One of the meeting’s agenda are the remarks of commissioners Martin Mendiola of Rota and Ramon Dela Cruz of Tinian.
The terms of Mendiola and Dela Cruz will end on April 30, 2024.
Included in the new business agenda is the election of chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, and public affairs/media relations. The term of the officers’ office is from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.
