Cadua graduates summa cum laude

Saipan son JC Cadua graduated from Trident University International with a Master of Science in Homeland Security last Oct. 27 at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

“I am intrigued by the Homeland Security/Cybersecurity field as it relates closely to some of the missions, I’ve been a part of in the military. This degree provides an opportunity for me to pursue a leadership position in the realm of homeland security policy, emergency management coordination, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity consulting with other federal/state level agencies and private sector entities as I transition out of the military in the future,” said the 26-year-old.

Cadua has a degree in AAS (Associate of Applied Science) in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the U.S. Air Force, a BA in Homeland Security from American Military University, and now an MS from Trident University International.

“I was able to accomplish this with a mix of online and in-person classes, primarily online since I am active duty military,” he said.

Born and raised on Saipan, Cadua is a 2016 alumnus of Marianas High School and immediately enlisted into the U.S. Air Force right after his graduation and been active on active duty since (for eight years and five months).

Cadua is the son of Roger Cadua, who was known as “Elvis Presley” singing at sunset cruises & many known establishments around the island of the CNMI, and Chato Cadua.

He is married to Nathally Cadua, who also grew up on Saipan, and they have one son, Levi.

He is currently stationed at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, and will be moving to Korea next week for his next assignment.

Cadua plans on finishing his 20 years with the Air Force and continue to tackle other goals personally and professionally.

Cadua would like to thank God and his family—father Roger Cadua, his mother Chato Cadua, his wife Nathally, his son Levi, his brother JR, and close friends.
