Crowne Plaza Resort to host Friends of Business Summit

The excitement continues to build for the 2024 Friends of Business Summit: CyberTech Edition as the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network announces Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan as the venue for this groundbreaking event. The summit is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2024, promising a day of tech innovation, insightful presentations, and networking opportunities for businesses and government agencies across the CNMI.

Building upon the success of the previous announcement, where the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network revealed the collaboration with the Northern Marianas College’s Office of Information Technology, the choice of Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan as the venue adds an extra layer of excitement and prestige to the Cybertech Edition of the Friends of Business Summit.

The 2024 Friends of Business Summit: Cybertech Edition event aims to bring together the private and public sectors in the tech space from across the Commonwealth to explore the latest technological advances that can propel leaders in business, education and our central government into the digital age. This training opportunity and trade show event will be open to all current and future SBDC clients at no cost; however, pre-registration will be required. Due to limited seating, clients who do not have a confirmed reservation will not be admitted.

Join CNMI SBDC as it offers training opportunities where areas in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, smartphone usage, technological advancement in the workplace and education, and implementation of technological systems in governmental operations will be topics of discussion led by both local and national industry experts.

Key highlights:

• Innovative presentations: Throughout the course of the day, industry experts and thought leaders will share insights into the latest technological trends and offer solutions on how businesses can leverage them for their growth and efficiency.

• Trade show: A vibrant trade show will be a central part of the summit, featuring tech businesses showcasing their cutting-edge products and services, providing a unique opportunity for the community to interact directly with tech innovators and explore firsthand, solutions that will be made available to them and how best they can be implemented to support business needs.

• Networking opportunities: The summit will foster networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with fellow professionals, government representatives, and tech industry leaders, building connections crucial for fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
