According to assistant Chief of Police Simon Manacop, Castro was apprehended yesterday and, as per standard procedure, is expected to appear before a judge today for an initial hearing and a bail hearing.
He was first reported wanted by police last Feb. 6.
Castro allegedly served as an accomplice to two individuals who are accused of breaking into a home on Capital Hill and stealing over $126,000 in cash and items.
The two individuals allegedly involved in this case are Brandon Joel Lizama Benavente and Consalacion Villagomez Muña Sablan, who themselves have already been apprehended and charged in court.
Sablan and Benavente were arrested on Feb. 1, when police executed a search warrant in relation to the theft and burglary case that Jing had reported. During the search, police also busted the couple for possession of methamphetamine, a firearm, and ammunition.
