First Furniture Installer Bootcamp to start this month

Guam Community College Office of Continuing Education and Workforce Development is now accepting applications for participants to sign up for the first Furniture Installer Bootcamp. Training will commence on April 15, 2024, and end on May 25, 2024. The deadline to apply is 5pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Interested participants are encouraged to sign up early as seats are limited to 20 individuals. Successful completers will be offered employment with M80 Systems.

Participants of the bootcamp will receive training in Introduction to Carpentry, NAVFAC-16, Heartsavers CPR/First Aid, WorkKeys, and Work Ethic.

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

18+ years of age

Unemployed/underemployed

Pass a background check for military base access

High school graduate or equivalent

Receive GCC Health Clearance
