GCC to host ‘College & Career Night’ on Wednesday
Guam Community College will be hosting a “Family Road Map to College and Career Night” Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, from 6pm to 7:30pm at the GCC Multi-Purpose Auditorium (Bldg. 300). The event aims to share parents/guardians and their high school teens with the opportunities and services available to them through GCC’s post-secondary programs
The informational session will provide helpful tips to make the transition from high school to college at GCC as seamless as possible. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to walk through the MPA to the different program and service booths and ask questions that can help students hit the ground running when they enter GCC as a college student.
Just some questions to ask at the event:
• What job opportunities are available for the programs you are interested in?
• How long will your program take to complete?
• How much does going to school cost and is there help in paying for the courses?
• Are there any short programs I can take so I go straight into work?
• After completing my GCC degree program, can my courses transfer to another college/university?
Whatever questions you have about GCC, our faculty, staff, and counselors can help you find the answer. Let us help you create your Family Roadmap to College or Career success.
