HANMI Charity Classic Golf Classic sold out

It’s a full house for the 22nd Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Aug. 24, 2024 with organizers announcing the tournament has sold out.

Registration is now closed for the tournament at 144 players.

“Once again, our players have pulled this year through to help us achieve another early sell-out of the HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament, and we couldn’t be more grateful,” said tournament committee chair Das Krishnan. “In particular, we know it’s tough times and we appreciate all the donations—cash and in-kind—from those sponsors joining us this year. Looking forward to great day of golf on Aug. 24!”

Hole-in-one prizes for the tournament include a 2024 Nissan Sentra from Joeten Motors, a 2024 Toyota Tacoma from Atkins Kroll Saipan, $10,000 cash from Pacifica Insurance, and $5,000 cash from Island Training Solutions.

Presidential Suite Sponsors are TSL Foundation, Marianas Visitors Authority, and Johnny’s Bar. Deluxe Sponsor is DOCOMO Pacific. Superior Sponsor are Tinian Mayor’s Office and Bridge Capital LLC. Optional play for the tournament is $30 and includes Accurate Drive (hole No. 9) and four chances for Nearest to the Pin (holes No. 3, 7, 13, and 17). Showtime is 6am, and the tournament will start at 7am. The tournament follows a blackjack double Peoria format.

This year’s awards banquet will be held at the Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan Ataari cultural dinner show starting at 5:30pm with a well-stocked raffle prize list.
