Journey to the Hill at AMP today

Soroptimist International of the Northern Mariana Islands is hosting its fourth bi-annual “Journey to the Hill” Forum, which will showcase all of the female candidates seeking election to the House of Representatives and Senate in the 2024 general elections.

This is not a political forum. It is a forum for the female candidates to tell the public about themselves, who were their mentors growing up, what made them decide to want to be a public servant, etc.

The event this year will be held at the American Memorial Park Theater, starting at 5pm today, Sept. 19, 2024.

The event is free to the public. Please join Soroptimist International for a glass of wine and a chance to learn more about the amazing women who are seeking public office. Remember that women had to fight hard decades ago to even have the right to vote, much less run for public office. (PR)
