Local bill allocates $503,900 for Obyan Beach repair

Gov. Arnold I. Palacios has signed into law a local bill that would re-appropriate $503,900 for the reconstruction and repair of Obyan Beach. House Local Bill 23-25 is now Saipan Local Law 23-09.

The bill, authored by Rep. Roman C. Benavente (Ind-Saipan), would re-appropriate $204,500 allotted under Saipan Local Law 20-26; $190,000 allotted under Saipan Local Law 20-26; and $109,400 allotted under Saipan Local Law 21-07. Finance Secretary Tracy B. Norita has certified that those funds are available for appropriation

The Department of Public Works secretary shall be the expenditure authority for the $503,900.
