Public invited to climate action presentation

All community members are invited to a presentation on the CNMI’s Priority Climate Action Plan today, April 11, 2024, at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center starting at 5:30pm. The Office of the Governor’s Climate Policy and Planning Program will present the results of the CNMI’s first greenhouse gas emissions inventory and share proposed priority actions to reduce emissions and provide benefits to the community. Discussion and Q&A will follow. This initiative is funded by a climate pollution reduction planning grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
