RJ Pizza Restaurant to open at old LBC Garapan site

RJ Pizza Restaurant will open  up tomorrow at the old LBC Express Inc. location in Garapan.

Owner Romeo Bautista said adding a new branch in Garapan to supplement their Sugar King Park one was made to accommodate more customers as the new location is more accessible and has more foot traffic.

RJ Pizza’s claim to fame is its home-made pizza with traditional toppings like ham and cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, chicken, special, and meat lovers. It also sells sweet Filipino-style spaghetti and crispy fried chicken.

Its current menu is chockful of affordable combo meals that perfectly pairs its one-of-a-kind chicken, spaghetti, and pizza dishes.

Customers can pair chicken with spaghetti, chicken with rice, chicken with pizza, or go the full nine yards with pizza, chicken, and spaghetti or pizza, chicken, and rice combos.

It also offers its famous chicken in buckets of eight, 10, and 12 pieces and chicken singles with fries.

Aside from the usual soft drinks and bottled water, diners at RJ Pizza Restaurant can also quench their thirst with newly introduced fruit shakes.

Asked why he made the move to a bigger location despite the economy not fully recovered following the COVID-19 pandemic, Bautista said he just wants to give people an affordable place to eat.

“We’re also affected by economic crisis, but we have a menu that I think would help the community with our low prices,” he said.

Named after his two sons, Roman and Jacob, Bautista started RJ Pizza as a home-based business in 2015. It moved to Sugar King Park in 2019 where it developed a cult following the past couple of years.

Bautista has been on Saipan since 2007. Prior to coming to the CNMI, he worked as a cook at iconic fast-food restaurants in the Philippines such as Jollibee, Pizza Hut, Greenwich Pizza, and Dunkin Donuts.

RJ Pizza Restaurant in Garapan is open from 10am to 10pm, Monday-Sunday, while RJ Pizza at Sugar King Park is open every day from 4pm top 9pm. For orders and for more information, call (670) 285-9600.
