SHRM meeting to discuss WIAO Apprenticeship Program

The CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will host a general membership meeting, taking place at the Azucena Room, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, starting at 11:30am. Doors will open at 11am.

This month’s meeting will delve into a crucial topic that resonates with the local workforce—the Apprentice Program, facilitated by the Workforce Investment Agency Office under the CNMI Department of Labor. The session aims to provide valuable insights into the program’s significance, impact, and opportunities for both employers and aspiring professionals.

Highlighting the event is guest speaker Joe Villacrusis, program manager at the Workforce Investment Agency Office. With a wealth of experience and expertise in workforce development, Villacrusis is poised to deliver a comprehensive overview of the Apprentice Program, shedding light on its key features, success stories, and the ways in which it contributes to the growth of the CNMI workforce.

This meeting will include lunch.
