Updated scheduled power service interruptions for January 2024

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public of a revised schedule for the power service interruptions. The originally scheduled power service interruption on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024. See updated schedule of power service interruptions:

Power Service Interruption Time: 8:30am-12:30pm

Area(s) Affected: Chalan Laulau (IT&E building) and Garapan (Fiesta barracks and former Nam Dae Moon Restaurant)

Water Well(s) Affected: None

Wastewater Facilities Affected: None

Traffic Light(s) Affected: None

Purpose: To allow the CUC linemen to replace two 40-foot wooden power poles with concrete poles and reinstall transformers, respectively.

Area(s) Affected: Gualo Rai (BECQ building)

Purpose: To allow the CUC linemen to replace a 40-foot wooden primary pole with a 40-foot concrete pole and reinstall a transformer.

Purpose: To allow the CUC linemen to relocate and replace two 40-foot wooden power poles with 40-foot concrete poles, a 45-foot wooden power pole with a 40-foot concrete pole, and to reinstall transformers.
