WSR I, KagES II undefeated in co-ed v-ball

William S. Reyes Elementary School I and Kagman Elementary School II teams racked up wins and are undefeated after their week three round-robin matchup in the NMIVA-PSS Co-ed Elementary School Volleyball Tournament 2023-2024 at the Oleai Sports Complex last Friday.

The Kingfishers first flew high against Saipan International School II, 21-5, then shut down Saipan Community School I, 21-2, and wrapped up the day with a win over Garapan Elementary School II, 21-12. They are undefeated with five wins.

Their roster was made up of Dulynna Simina, Trisha Lisua, Memzie Eliesiar, Haven Moteisou, Atsun Hallito, Elijah Pelisamen, Jesus Daikichy, Salmon Kamal, Cinarae Martino, Arys Cepeda, K-son Martino, James Bowie, and Chris Paul.

From the east side, the Blue Marlins also collected three wins for an undefeated record of five wins. They first won a tough matchup against Saipan Community School, 25-23; edged BSS, 21-16; and brought down Koblerville Elementary School II, 21-5.

The Blue Marlins are made up of Gregorio Repeki, Jason Kaipat, Napu Reyes, K-mani Dela Cruz, Raymond Palacios, Samuel Ngiraked, Celina Gonzales, Dakota Ilek, Hailey Mafnas, Destiny Cosmes, and Shiana Pua.

In other results that day, KobES II won via forfeit over Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School I; Garapan Elementary School II defeated BSS, 21-6; San Vicente Elementary School I outlasted Mount Carmel School, 21-14; GES II slipped past SIS II, 21-19; SCS I notched a win against BSS, 21-14; and KagES I tore down KobES II, 21-5.

This Friday is the last day of round-robin games, with the championship series set to start on Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24.
