BARRIGADA HEIGHTS, Guam—Subway introduced yesterday The Subway Series, a completely new menu of 12 delicious sandwiches. The new sandwiches are carefully crafted to deliver maximum crave factor with a perfect combination of choice meats, cheeses, fresh, hand-sliced vegetables, freshly baked breads, and flavorful sauces.

The Subway Series launched nationally over the summer and is now available in Guam and on Saipan.

A celebration of Subway’s nearly 60 years of expertise in sandwich-making, The Subway Series comprises 12 sandwiches hand-picked from hundreds of chef-inspired sandwich recipes that took a year of testing and perfecting to earn a coveted spot on The Subway Series menu.

The Subway Series is the continuation of the multi-year plan to build a better Subway to evolve the entire guest experience with a fresh-forward ethos at the biggest restaurant chain in the world. And the journey of transformation started with craveable menu innovations.

In 2021, using the platform “Eat Fresh Refresh,” Subway introduced 20 significant menu updates including 11 new and improved ingredients, six all-new or classic sandwiches and two new kinds of bread, Artisan Italian and Multigrain Bread. Guests enjoyed—and craved—such upgraded proteins as hickory-smoked bacon, smashed avocado, deli-thin sliced ham and turkey, BelGioioso Fresh Mozzarella, to name a few.

This year, Subway rolls out The Subway Series of 12 new sandwiches grouped into four categories—Cheesesteak, Italiano, Chicken, and Club—with three sandwiches each. The sandwiches are filled with premium ingredients, among them Capicola, a popular type of salami or cold cut, and Garlic Aioli.

Considered as the most ambitious initiative in the company’s history, The Subway Series changes Subway’s blueprint that made it a global phenomenon in the quick service restaurant industry.

With The Subway Series comes a new ordering system to streamline the process for guests. At the customer’s choice, instead of walking the line to pick ingredients, toppings and condiments, they can simply order by saying the sandwich name or number and specify whether they want a Footlong or a six-inch sandwich of The Subway Series menu:

No. 3 The Monster

No. 4 Supreme Meats
No. 5 Bella Mozza
No. 6 The Boss

No. 7 The MexiCali
No. 8 The Great Garlic
No. 9 The Champ

No. 10 The All-American Club
No. 11 Subway Club
No. 12 Turkey Cali Club

Ordering by name or number will not replace the Subway blueprint of customer customization but rather provide another option to order.
Guests can still customize and make substitutions to the classic menu and to the curated sandwiches of The Subway Series.
