The multi-purpose facility in Oleai was once again called upon to serve the community over the weekend, as some 20 people from four families sought shelter from tropical storm Noru within the comforts of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium Sunday night.

A total of five DCCA staff members were on hand during the night to provide assistance to any additional temporary residents in a lesser capacity than they did during the storms of this past summer.
The families returned to their homes after receiving an all-clear sign from the Emergency Management Office yesterday morning.
