IUMC Christmas schedule
Immanuel United Methodist Church would continue with its Christmas celebrations today and tomorrow.
Today, Christmas Day, IUMC has scheduled a Christmas Family Worship beginning 11am at its Koblerville facility.
Tomorrow, Dec. 26, IUMC will hold its Student Recognition Day at 9am. The activity is a worship service planned and led by IUMC high school and college students. IUMC will also hold a Church Christmas Pageant, coordinated by Mindy Gipson, on the same day.
Yesterday, IUMC has a potluck supper and fellowship, which began at 6:30pm. It was followed by a Lesson & Carols Candle Lighting Service.
Persons unable to attend their own church’s services, visitors to the island and those without a church home are warmly welcome to attend any or all of these events, according to IUMC.
Anyone interested in joining but don’t know where IUMC is located follow these directions: From Dan Dan drive towards Koblerville, past Guangdong Hardware, St. Jude’s Catholic Church and Elite Printers. Look for a large lighted “Immanuel Methodist Church” and a smaller “United Methodist Church” sign on the right, just beyond Elite Printers.
