A man who claimed to be the primary complainant in the lawsuit regarding the fraudulent advertisement to market the “Freedom Tower Silver Dollar” has urged the CNMI government to donate royalties collected from the minting of commemorative coins to the World Trade Center’s memorial fund.
A man who claimed to be the primary complainant in the lawsuit regarding the fraudulent advertisement to market the “Freedom Tower Silver Dollar” has urged the CNMI government to donate royalties collected from the minting of commemorative coins to the World Trade Center’s memorial fund.
In an email sent to the Saipan Tribune, Rob Gallagher said little money has been raised for the WTC memorial, which would be built at ground zero.
The CNMI government is earning royalty from the sale of commemorative coins bearing the name and seal of the Commonwealth, after authorizing a U.S. company, Softsky, to mint and sell the commemorative coins.
