‘A thousand miles begin…’

…for Miles Rodriguez who celebrated her 18th birthday on May 13 with a traditional debutante’s ball, complete with a cotillon de honor and the offering of 18 candles and 18 roses.

Rodriguez, the daughter of Leslie and Ronald, celebrated her coming out to society at the Saipan Grand Hotel’s Seaside Hall in the presence of family members, relatives, friends, and guests, who joined her in celebrating such an auspicious occasion.

Resplendently aglow like the debutante that she was, Miles was clad in a turquoise chiffon and lace creation, while her female cotillon members wore nature-inspired moss green numbers.

As the theme for her debut said, Miles’ thousand-mile journey in life has begun.
