Manta Ray Battalion takes part in DPS’ 3D parade
The Department of Public Safety and its Explorer Program, along with the Manta Ray Battalion, kicked off the 3D, Don’t Drink and Drive Parade last Friday.
A total of 53 cadets who attended the event were identified with red glow sticks around their necks that signified Drunk Driving awareness. With the sky darkening and the sound of sirens blaring, the Manta Ray cadets led the marching commanded by Cadet Captain Koji Taisakan. The cadets started from Kilili Beach and ended at the Court House Parking lot. The marching cadets were joined by several modified cars, police cars, and Santa Claus on a fire truck.
