Alleged ‘ice’ possession lands man in jail
The CNMI Department of Public Safety’s Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested last March 17 a man who was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamines.
A Department of Public Safety news release yesterday identified the suspect as Denmar E. Malabanan, who was arrested on Saipan after he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute. Malabanan was transported to the Department of Corrections where he was booked and detained.

The next day, March 18, 2022, a Rule-5 was drafted for the charges of trafficking and possession. CNMI Superior Court associate judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio set Malabanan’s bail at $100,000. (PR)
