Every investor has the heart and first hand option to lend a helping hand in the community. On early March, the Alter City Group went on a mission to help the community of Tinian. ACG crews alternated their scheduled clearances at the proposed development and pounced on community projects.
Taking a temporary time off the Plumeria Casino and Golf Resort site, a $1.2-billion investment at the Southwestern part of Tinian, employees equipped with brush cutters, trimmers, truck, and trailer, tackled fallen trees and debris from the last typhoon.
It was a sight to contemplate at the former St. Joseph School, as well as, the ponding basin between the Tinian Public Library and the San Jose Catholic Church thoroughly cleared to the ground.
Alter City Group employees, who are all local hires, could be seen for the last week furiously working and cleaning up the village of San Jose. What’s far more valuable than a billion dollar investment is a company that enjoys lending a helping hand. A harmonious relationship with the people of Tinian from the heart at the start would assure us that ACG is truly for Tinian.
In total gratitude and a wholehearted appreciation, Tinian Mayor Joey Patrick San Nicolas, in the behalf of the Tinian Leadership and the community, extended a huge thanks and Si Yu’us Ma’ase to ACG officials for their contribution and staff for the tremendous effort and enormous hard work to beautify Tinian.
