Don’t stoop to their level!
Like others who believe in ocean conservation and protecting our natural heritage, I support the idea of a proposed Mariana Trench Monument. Those of us that are old enough to remember what the waters around the southern islands used to be like are wise enough to know that our northern waters deserve protections.
Like others who believe in ocean conservation and protecting our natural heritage, I support the idea of a proposed Mariana Trench Monument. Those of us that are old enough to remember what the waters around the southern islands used to be like are wise enough to know that our northern waters deserve protections.
I don’t like that some of the non-supporters of the monument have resorted to name-calling. Perhaps if the so-called “enviro-extremists” had been more vocal in years past, we would still have fanihi in our skies, ayuyu covering our land, and a lagoon full of fish.
To everyone that supports the monument, I say keep doing what you are doing. You have more supporters than you think.
