Run Saipan’s Beer Mile early bird registration has been extended until July 17.
Aug. 5 has been designated International Beer Day and Run Saipan is celebrating the occasion with its Inaugural Beer Mile.

This event combines the fun of a backyard barbecue with the thrill of a mile long race!

Join Run Saipan for the very first Run Saipan Beer Mile, sponsored by Michelob Ultra and hosted by Saipan Country Club. The Run Saipan Beer Mile is redefining carbo-loading!

The rules are simple: Drink one beer, run 400m, drink another beer, run 400m, drink a third beer, Run 400m, drink a fourth beer and then take another 400m loop to finish the course.

Pace yourselves: those who drink too fast or run too hard and lose part of their drinks on the course will have to run an additional lap to finish the race.

Finisher medals for the first 100 registrants to finish the course. Come into the Tiki Bar after the race for some good running stories and a chance to show off your new medals.

Run Saipan reminds you to drink responsibly and not operate a motor vehicle when under the influence. (PR)
