Softball fever is on and fans are in for a treat this Sunday, July 10, as it is the start of the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association Annual Master’s League at the Dandan softball field.
The league will be held for six to seven months and has a total of six teams for the women and 10 teams for men. It will be held every Sunday.
The women’s teams participating in the league have no age requirements and are the 670 Babes, Manny Sablan, Kosebakl, Hotshots, Team Eagles, and the Tokáhåo Ladies.
Participating in the men’s masters league, whose players should be 40 years old and over, are the Salty Boys, Tokàhão, Man Amigos, Momma Charo, Hagu Lamun, Asahi, Team Sufa, Team Ngaraard, Aimeliik, and the defending champions Team Peleliu.
In last year’s league, Team Peleliu defeated Man Amigos in a best-of-three championship.
