BMV will be closed on Monday
The Bureau of Motor Vehicle. and the CNMI Department of Public Safety’s Firearms and Records office will be closed on Monday, Jan.y 9, 2023, due to inauguration festivities taking place at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.
BMV services that will be closed include vehicle/vessel registration, driver’s license renewal, driving test, and drivers permit.
Firearms and Records office services that will be closed include issuing copies of criminal and accident reports, processing all fingerprints needed for employment and licensing, firearms application/identification cards, shooting gallery/dealers applications and licenses, registering of civilian-owned firearms, ammunition, and explosives in the CNMI and safekeeping of expired firearms and reissuing upon approval and/or completion of an updated firearms application.
Regular business hours will resume operation the following day on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. (PR)
