BREAKING NEWS: House passes FY 2018 budget

Share

The House of Representatives unanimously passed the $145-million fiscal year 2018 budget, House Bill 20-105 HD2, SD3, CCS1, during today’s emergency session.

The budget bill now heads to the Senate, which will hold an emergency session tomorrow to act on it. Instead of going directly to Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, the bill is a conference committee substitute, hence it will need to go to the Senate first.

The governor constitutionally has 20 days to review the budget.

More details later.
