BREAKING NEWS: Man killed in car crash
On Saturday, April 29, 2023, at about 2:33am, DPS 911 received a report of a vehicle crash by the Coffee Shop along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero Road in Kannat Tabla, Saipan.
At about 2:38am, an officer arrived and met with the 911 caller. At this point, he observed a red Nissan Hardbody pickup truck resting facing southeast in contact with a wooden power pole. The driver and passenger were still in the car, the driver was unresponsive, and the passenger was unconscious but still breathing.
Medics arrived at the scene and immediately transported the passenger to CHCC. The driver, a 44-year-old male with no pulse and was not breathing, was transported and later pronounced dead at 3:20am by Dr. Elizabeth Culp.
The crash is under further investigation. (DPS)
