QQ Rent A Car caging eyes opening this month

Organizers of the 2013 QQ Rent A Car Basketball League is hoping to open shop later this month at the Garapan Basketball Court.

League commissioner Boy Garcia said they are eyeing either the third or last Saturday of January as the opening day of the competition and the rest of the matches will be played every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The QQ caging is an open league and so far seven teams have expressed an interest in joining the competition. Garcia said they are looking to have between and 10 teams. Entry fee is $500.

Cash prizes await the Top 2 finishers in the league with the champion taking home $1,000 and the runner-up getting $500.
