Childcare providers undergo training on the administration of medications
Childcare providers under the CNMI Child Care & Development Fund were trained last April 23 on the administration of medication, consistent with standards for parental consent, conducted by Evergreen Learning quality care specialist Maricar I. Deseo. The training was held at Evergreen Learning’s training center in Chalan Kanoa.
Nine participants from four centers on Saipan participated. Samples of forms and procedures/ policies were provided as a resource.
This two-hour professional development opportunity addressed standards that apply to safely administering medication in childcare. (PR)
