Pacific Island Club’s The Galley is now open for lunch that gives the community more lunch options. The Galley provides great ambiance and good food at reasonable prices and whatever dish you fancy—American, Japanese, Korean, Italian, or local cuisine—staff will be at your beck and call serving food hot and fresh.
According PIC general manager Gloria Cavanagh, they reopened The Galley to test the waters after being closed for a couple of months due to COVID-19 concerns. “We opened on Sept. 1…we are trying out The Galley for now to see if the demand is there. Happy Hour at Seaside Grill Sunset which we reopened in August is doing well,” she said.
“Lunch at The Galley is available from 11am to 2pm from Monday to Friday. For light lunch eaters, we have soups, appetizers, salad, pizza, and sandwiches. For noodle and pasta lovers we have Japanese and Korean ramen, spaghetti Bolognese and Carbonara. Our main entrees include beef bulgogi, Galley Steak Burger, Japanese home-style curry, and crispy fried chicken,” she added.
Pre-COVID-19, The Galley used to be open from 5am to 12pm so that PIC guests and locals can get their food fix any time of the day. Although they are currently operating on limited days and time, walk-ins and take-outs are accepted.
“We will be offering Magellan Sunday brunch soon and we will have all the regular dishes including the carving station. All food will be dished out at five different action stations. There will still be unlimited wine and beer and of course, there will also be champagne,” Cavanagh said.
“Just like with Seaside Grill Sunset, health and safety protocols are in place in accordance to the regulations of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. and Bureau of Environmental Health… the community can be assured that all employees have been trained because the safety and enjoyment of our customers is our priority,” Cavanagh added.
The Galley is open during lunch, 11am-2pm from Monday to Friday, Seaside Grill Sunset is open for Happy Hour, 5pm-9pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. For more information call (670) 234-7976, 8am-5pm, from Monday to Wednesday and 8am-9pm from Thursday to Saturday.
