The 2021 Dove Spring Women’s League is gearing up for playoffs with the first set of playoffs matches this weekend.

Following last weekend’s set of matches, the Dove women’s league has finalized the lineup for the playoffs this Sunday.

In the Master’s Division, Paire Football Club 1 bested Paire 2, officially taking the division’s first finals spot.

Paire 1 completed the regular season with a 3-1 victory over Paire 2.

Fortunately, Paire 2 still has a shot at facing Paire 1 in the finals as the division’s Top 3. Paire 2 will vie for the second finals seat against Matansa FC this Sunday.

Meanwhile, TanHoldings and Kanoa will go head to head in the playoffs to earn a chance to vie for the Top 3 spot. Whoever wins in their match, they will face whoever lost between Paire 2 and Matansa.

During last weekend’s matches, Matansa stole the No. 2 spot from Paire 2 after defeating TanHoldings, 1-0.

Battling it out for the second finals seat will be Divison B’s No. 2 Southern United and TanHoldings.

Southern United maintained its Top 2 standings after outplaying TanHoldings last weekend with a 3-1 victory.

Vying for a chance to enter the finals and compete for the top three spot are MP United and Kanoa. Whoever wins between the two will face the loser between Southern United and TanHoldings for the chance at the season’s No. 3.

In Division A, Shirley’s enters the playoffs as the top seed after defeating Kanoa, 2-1. The top seed will face TanHoldings, the division’s No. 4, for the first finals seat.

Battling for the second finals seat will be Southern United and Kanoa. Southern United secured its standing as the division’s No. 2 after besting TanHoldings last weekend, 14-1.

The losers of both playoffs matches will go head to head in the finals for a shot at completing the Top 3.

The Dove Women’s League playoffs will start at 3pm this Sunday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.
