Dream: Reality Enigma Adenosine Triphosphate Meaning Sonnets

The Minimal Mess of Neutrino Nuttiness
A yin yang dream inspired by Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar’s The Maximum Mass of Ideal White Dwarfs (1931)

Oh they were stars of deep seas and dark skies all right
tearing through supermarkets and small grocery stores
quietly moving past milk and corn cereal all day and night
in between pickled pigs feet, kale and chocolate smors
they were passing through trees pick up trucks and cans
through radios red lights raging rivers and cattle ranches
through desert sands mountains and food delivery vans
through Mississippi and Amazon delta tributary branches
galactic giant and dwarf stars of any color you might query
rolling through the universal cosmic radio background
entangling alliances over under and around string theory
incredible invisible inedible inaudible devoid of sound
and lets not forget white dwarfs red giants and black holes
half moon cookies star anise and cosmic cinnamon rolls.

A Big Bang Matter Day Collision
A 2020 Holy Saturday vision limeronnet on it

In our face in our world sadness and sorrow
coronavirus today still viral tomorrow
social distancing, booze and blues ways of coping
sunny sides of statistics keep us hoping
for happiness we beg make meals and borrow
catalytic the entropic two step and its companion
do a nuclear fusion waltz inside universal dominion
let there be countless stars inside galactic night
turn dark matter and dark energy into light
stars born out of chaos but without confusion

deep down inside our protective cranium
synaptic activity glowing like uranium
adenosine triphosphate gives us its energy
causing sadness and sorrow to depart and flee
starlight and sunlight our boon companion.

Thank God for Dreams
Thank God for giving us dreams
and when we have a nightmare
thank God for calming our screams
and waking us up to remember and share
praise angels for bringing amazing grace
when they see fit to bless our sleep
so when we wake up in the same old place
we count our blessings instead of sheep
these dreams bring night time close to death
when we wake up we are back to life
these dreams may continue until our last breath
some with joy and sorrow some mirth and strife
dreams good or bad, action overt and subdued
inside our dreamy heads its closure is pursued.
