The Commonwealth Election Commission has designated four polling sites for the 21-day early voting for Saipan and Northern Islands that will start on Oct. 13.
CEC executive director Julita A. Villagomez said yesterday that the designated polling places are the Koblerville Youth Center in Koblerville, the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, the Tanapag Youth Center in Tanapag, and the Kagman Youth Center in Kagman.
For those 55 years old or older and those with disabilities, they can vote from 8am to 9am, while all other registered voters will be accommodated from 9am to 5pm.
Villagomez said that all voters must make sure to bring with them an identification card with picture as they will be required to present it in order to be issued a ballot.
The Koblerville Youth Center is for voters from Precinct 1A (San Antonio), Precinct 1B (San Vicente), and Precinct 1C (Koblerville).
The Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center is for voters from Precinct 2 (Chalan Kanoa), Precinct 3A (San Jose), Precinct 3B (Garapan), Precinct 4D (Northern Islands), Precinct 6 (Tinian & Aguiguan), and Precinct 7 (Rota).
Residents of Rota, Tinian, and the Northern Islands who are temporarily residing on Saipan can vote early at Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.
The Tanapag Youth Center is for voters from Precinct 4A (Tanapag), Precinct 4B (San Roque), and Precinct 4C (Capital Hill).
The Kagman Community Center is for voters from Precinct 4C (Kagman).
The seven-day early voting on Tinian and Rota will commence on Oct. 27. Villagomez said they will announce soon the designated polling sites on Tinian and Rota for the early voting.
The general elections will be on Nov. 3.
